What is Bi-Aura Therapy?

Bi-Aura Therapists believe that a person has a natural right to ‘feel good’ and be healthy. It is an energy-based therapy, which works to seek out and remove energy blockages from within the body and the body’s energy field (also referred to as the body’s aura).

Branches of Eastern medicine have long recognised and worked with the body’s energies and energy flow, also known as ch’i, qi, prana, and so forth. It is from this tradition that the roots of Bi-Aura are to be found.

Today biology teaches us that for a single cell to exist it must emit an electrical impulse. Physics teaches us that anything that creates such must also create a surrounding magnetic field. The body, therefore, is not simply a physical mass but also a myriad of electrical activity from which a bio-magnetic field emanates. This field, or aura, has been photographed since the fifties and has been recognised by the World Health Organisation.

When this field flows freely, then health and wellbeing can be achieved and maintained. When this field is imbalanced, disease, mental and emotional distress can take hold.

As a magnetic field cannot be separated from an electrical current, the body’s energy field cannot be separated from the physical body. Imbalances in the body’s energy field can occur from trauma, physical, emotional and mental stress, as well as illness itself. Similarly, Bi-Aura Therapy teaches that imbalances within the body’s energy field can precede mental, emotion and physical illness.

In short, the therapy seeks to locate energetic imbalances and address them to allow the body to return to health and to help balance the mental and emotional state of the recipient. The therapist’s role is to facilitate positive and holistic changes.

Which conditions has Bi-Aura been helpful for?

To date Bi-Aura Therapy has helped thousands of people all over the UK and Ireland, and this has been well documented in national newspapers and television programmes. Because Bi-Aura is working to bring the body’s energy field back into balance its successes have not been limited to helping with specific ailments and conditions. Each individual energy field is unique. Therapists work with the energy field rather than a diagnosis. This means that each session is unique to the client’s field at any given stage and time.

The following is a list of the most commonly treated illnesses and symptoms that Bi-Aura Therapists tell us that they have had success with:

  • Allergies
  • Arthritis and rheumatism
  • Asthma

Emotional upset, bereavement, stress related conditions, difficulty concentrating, low energy levels and generally feeling out of sorts are also reasons that people have turned to Bi-Aura for help.

Many therapists often treat people who do not present with ailments or symptoms but simply wish to feel better in themselves. It is suitable for people of all ages; successes with children have been well documented, and some therapists have chosen to specialise in treating animals.

What can I expect during treatment?

Bi-Aura Therapy is a safe and non-invasive therapy. Sessions begin with the therapist ‘scanning’ the body’s energy field to assess energy flow and locate blockages. From this scan the therapist manipulates the energy field to release blockages and address imbalances.

The therapist will then end the session by working to bring the energy field into balance. Physical contact between client and therapist is minimal, and clients are fully clothed at all times. The therapy does not require any special equipment, and therefore sessions can take place in most settings.

Sessions usually last for about an hour. Ideally a course of treatment consists of four sessions over four consecutive days. Where this is not possible a therapist will discuss a more suitable schedule on an individual basis.

More chronic and severe illnesses may require more sessions. Usually after the fourth session the therapist will discuss any future needs in consultation with the client. Initially a full history will be taken followed up with notes on progress before and after each subsequent session.

All Bi-Aura Therapists have been trained by, and are members of, the Bi-Aura Foundation. The Bi-Aura Foundation is a member of the CMA and the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM). All therapists work to the minimum standards set by the CMA and clients can expect a fully trained, insured and professional therapist who can guarantee confidentiality.
