My route into complementary healthcare was not conventional. It developed through lived experience, professional discipline, and a personal need to understand health at a much deeper level.
I grew up in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire through the seventies and eighties within a strong working class community. Early life taught resilience, accountability, and independence. Those foundations shaped how I approach both life and professional practice. My early career began in military engineering and progressed into civil engineering, telecommunications, fibre optics, and systems delivery. I built and managed projects, worked with data and network infrastructure, and ran my own installation business. Technology became my natural language. It taught me structure, flow, and the consequences of failure within a system, it only takes one small fault in one area to create disruption across a whole network.
In 2018 my mother was diagnosed with cancer, the moment she broke the news I redirected my focus, and I immersed myself in research to understand the biological, neurological, and systemic aspects of the illness. What began as personal study evolved into formal education and professional commitment within complementary healthcare. Since first registering with the Complementary Medical Association back in 2020, I have focused on supporting individuals experiencing chronic pain, anxiety, inflammation, and complex mental health challenges. As a result of this support I have developed particular interest in the Endocannabinoid System and its role in regulation, homeostasis, and symptom management.
As a legal medical cannabis patient, I also provide consultation and digital support for individuals seeking accurate information and assisted referrals to specialist clinics within UK regulations. My work extends into awareness around ADHD, autism, aspergers, addiction, behavioural patterns, and neuropsychology. I am especially interested in how perception can influence health outcomes. Many of the individuals I have supported since 2020 feel overlooked or misunderstood within traditional systems, so as a practitioner my role is to provide clarity, structure, and responsible signposting where appropriate.
gr0whealthcare© uses a structured three stage consultation model:
1. Acceptance; Identifies where a person currently stands in relation to their health and wellbeing.
2. Angles; Explores the interconnected effects of that condition across mental, emotional, and physical domains.
3. Perception; Reframes management into practical steps supported by education and referral pathways.
This framework is supported operationally by LiVEiT®, a licensed visual management system that translates complex health themes into structured and accessible guidance. My background in optical network engineering directly drives the way this model is delivered. Health, like infrastructure, functions best when clarity and flow are present.
I do not position complementary healthcare as a replacement for regulated medical services. Instead, I work alongside existing structures with emphasis on education, prevention, informed choice, and responsible referral pathways. My aim is to empower individuals to take ownership of their health while remaining grounded in evidence and collaboration.
Alongside private consultations, I remain committed to community engagement, patient advocacy, and education surrounding the Endocannabinoid System and medical cannabis awareness across Wales and the wider United Kingdom. My work is shaped by lived experience, my own recovery and a commitment to providing practical support at the very front line of patient care.

This is way better! Work in progress I say the structure of site is better! It can only grow from here I feel the fees will go down a lot better in USA but having said that! I went to Shane, completely fed up with hip pain and just being prescribed painkillers by the gp, that had worse side effects than my pain!
I had the best advice from Shane. He is knowledgeable and genuinely cares about helping people (in my case) be pain free.
