The Academy of Sound Therapy is dedicating to the teaching of sound therapy / sound healing to practitioner level.
Training is offered on a 1 to 1 basis from our Studio in Stretton, Oakham, Rutland, East Midlands.
On the course you will learn to play gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls (including Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls), Shamanic & percussion instruments, the voice (vocal toning), and tuning forks. We also cover essential spiritual practice, client care, contraindications etc.
On completion of the course you will be able to offer both 1:1 and group therapy sessions.
This course is accredited by the CMA ensuring that it is insurable through their recommended insurers of Balens and Westminster.

I recently completed the sound therapy course and gain my qualification with Helen at The Academy of Sound. Helen is amazing and so knowledgeable with sound therapy and its intricacies. I went there looking to learn about Crystal Singing Bowls but came away having learnt so much more than I ever expected. This course exceeded my expectations and I enjoyed every minute of it! I have very recently gained my Sound Healing Practitioner qualification with Helen at The Academy of Sound Therapy. I am so grateful to have learned from Helen. Having completed a practitioner course in sound with helen, I am already out there doing what I love, I knew I always wanted to do sound and I had visited a few people however nothing really clicked and although I was eager to get going it was also really important for me to be the right person/soul, when I had a chat with helen and my first session I knew I had found the right course and person for what I needed, helen not only knows and teaches all kinds of instruments and sounds but she also knows her frequencies and sound on a much deep technical level too, so you get both spiritual and technical side of things. She has many instruments so that you can try them before you buy yourself, and continues to help and advise with any questions you may have.
