How to Attract More Clients Over Summer – Without Burning Out: The CMA’s Top Five Tips for Success


Summer can be a wonderfully energising time—but I know it can also bring challenges for many of us in practice. Whether you’re navigating a dip in bookings or trying to keep up with demand while everyone else seems to be relaxing, this season has its own rhythm—and I want to help you work with it.

In this article, I’m sharing some of my favourite strategies to help you attract more clients, protect your energy, and keep your practice thriving through the summer months. These are practical tips you can implement right away—and I hope they offer both inspiration and support, just when you need it.

As summer arrives, many complementary and natural health practitioners notice a shift. Some see a seasonal slowdown as clients go away or cut back on spending. Others experience a rush of pre-holiday appointments—and risk heading into August completely drained.

Either way, it’s easy to feel out of rhythm with your business during this time of year. But with a few simple shifts, summer can actually become one of your most aligned, abundant seasons.


Here’s how to embrace the summer energy in your practice—without burning out:


1. Create Summer-Specific Offers

Tailor your services to meet the season. Think:
– Short, focused sessions (e.g. ‘Summer Reset’ or ‘Sunshine Sleep Support’)
– Seasonal wellness packages (e.g. immunity support, travel wellbeing kits)
– Teen and student-focused offers (back-to-school stress, skin health, anxiety support)
Framing your services this way makes them feel timely and relevant, and clients are more likely to book.

2. Keep Your Practice Visible – with Ease

Summer isn’t the time for an all-out marketing blitz. Instead:
– Schedule evergreen posts and gentle reminders in advance
– Share seasonal self-care tips that connect back to your services
– Use storytelling—show what’s happening in your practice, your garden, your beach bag!
This keeps you top of mind while nurturing your audience authentically.

3. Honour Your Own Energy

If you’re feeling the heat—literally or figuratively—it’s OK to set boundaries.
– Block time out for rest or creative planning
– Let clients know your summer hours in advance
– Trust that aligned visibility will carry you further than pushing through exhaustion
Your energy is your greatest asset. Protecting it ensures your clients get the best of you—not what’s left of you.
