Harley Street Clinician. Functional & Integrative Medicine.
Based on Harley Street in London, Sona Parmar is the founder of The Sona Method, an approach to functional and integrative medicine for adults and children with chronic and complex health problems.
Sona works particularly with people whose symptoms cross several body systems, whose tests do not fully explain how they feel, or who have received multiple diagnoses without anyone quite connecting the whole picture.
Her areas of clinical focus include autoimmune disease, chronic fatigue and ME/CFS, Long Covid, IBS and digestive health, eczema and psoriasis, migraines, sleep problems, hormone health including menopause and thyroid conditions, and metabolic health.
Rather than focusing on symptoms in isolation, The Sona Method looks for patterns across the whole clinical picture. This may include digestion, immune function, nutrition, hormones, metabolism, sleep, stress physiology, medication, lifestyle and medical history, with further investigation used where clinically appropriate.
Sona’s work draws on more than twenty years of clinical experience. Her approach is centred on making complex health problems easier to understand and developing a clear, personalised strategy for what deserves attention first.
She sees patients in person on Harley Street, London, and works with patients internationally.
