I am the founder of the Somanisen® Method –
Somanisen is a holistic approach to wellbeing that integrates mindful movement, mobility, breathing techniques, relaxation and mindfulness to support physical and mental wellbeing.
Founded on the principle that wellbeing is individual and influenced by the relationship between the body, the mind and the surrounding environment, Somanisen encourages people to develop greater body awareness, adaptability and a sustainable approach to everyday health.
Through movement practices, guided breathing, relaxation and mindfulness, Somanisen aims to help individuals improve movement confidence, develop healthier habits, manage everyday stress and cultivate greater balance in their lives.
The approach is adaptable to individual needs, abilities and circumstances, with an emphasis on accessible, progressive practices rather than performance, competition or a one-size-fits-all model of fitness.
Somanisen can be delivered through individual sessions, group classes, workshops and educational programmes, supporting people in developing practical skills and strategies to enhance their wellbeing and maintain them in everyday life.
Somanisen has been developed from my combined experience and training in Osteopathic Medicine, Yoga, Corrective and Restorative Exercise, Dance, Fitness and Wellness Coaching.
I am also a specialist in Bodywork including soft tissue massage, joint manipulation, mobilisation, craniosacral and body adjustment. I am available for 1-2-1 and group health coaching sessions. I hold a Masters Degree in Osteopathic Medicine and a variety of other bodywork certifications.
