Sebastian Liew is the first medical herbalist in Singapore (since 2004), and probably Asia, who has significantly pioneered phytotherapy (Western herbal medicine) in Singapore and possibly in Asia. With credentials from NHAA (Australia) and TGA (Australia), as well as the University of New England, he stands as a distinguished figure in the field of complementary medicine.

As a doctor of naturopathy, he embodies the role of natural medicine coach and teacher, dedicating his life to guiding clients to recover from chronic diseases such as autoimmune diseases, digestive disorders, skin diseases, and Women’s and Men’s health issues, ageing disorders, and even acute infections and discover their inner doctor with his 7 HEALERS principles. Renowned American herbalist Matthew Wood has recognised him as one of the most unique and talented practitioners. Liew sits in the teaching faculty of the Matthew Wood Institute of Herbalism.

Liew is the author of three books, including My Healing Life and From Leaf to Life (available on Amazon). He is a visionary founder of Leaf to Life, a professional range of health products that champions phytotherapy. He has earned esteem awards, including the SME 500 in 2022 and the Entrepreneur 100 from the Association of Trade and Commerce (Singapore). His commitment to promoting European Hildegard medicine in Asia has been honoured with a prize from Dr Wigard Strehlow.
