I’m a Certified Menopause Wellness Coach, with a Diploma in Menopause and Endometriosis Awareness, and a proud member of the Complementary Medical Association (CMA). Based in Canterbury, Kent, I support women both locally and online with clear, compassionate and evidence-informed menopause education and coaching.
My approach combines professional training with lived experience, and that lived experience is a huge part of why I do what I do.
After years of having my symptoms dismissed or described as “normal”, I was eventually diagnosed with deep infiltrating endometriosis. After completing my family, I underwent a hysterectomy, but my journey didn’t end there.
Two years later, I began experiencing new symptoms including allergies and sensitivities, night sweats, joint pain, pelvic pain and significant abdominal swelling. Although I no longer had periods, my ovaries remained and I was still experiencing hormonal cycles, including intense ovulation pain. Further investigations revealed ovarian cysts, including an endometrioma, and I ultimately had both ovaries removed, bringing me into surgical menopause.
Starting HRT was an important part of managing my surgical menopause, but finding the right approach was far from straightforward. My own experience of navigating HRT, including progesterone intolerance, reinforced something that is now central to my coaching:
Menopause care is never one-size-fits-all.
Today, I use both my professional knowledge and lived experience to help women better understand what is happening to their bodies and feel more confident about the choices available to them.
I support women through perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause and surgical menopause, with a particular interest in surgical menopause, endometriosis and the relationship between hormones and neurodivergence.
I’m also committed to continuing my professional development so that the education and support I provide reflects current knowledge and remains within my professional scope of practice.
How I Can Support You
Menopause can affect far more than periods and hot flushes. Changes in hormones can influence sleep, mood, energy, cognition, sexual wellbeing and many other aspects of everyday life, and sometimes it can be difficult to know where to begin.
My coaching gives you the time and space to look at your individual experience, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
Together, we can explore:
* Your menopause symptoms and how they are affecting your everyday life
* Perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause and surgical menopause
* HRT education and understanding the different options you may wish to discuss with your healthcare professional
* Nutrition and realistic lifestyle changes
* Sleep, movement, stress and emotional wellbeing
* Vaginal, vulval and sexual wellbeing
* Preparing for GP or menopause appointments and knowing which questions you want to ask
* Understanding reliable menopause information and separating evidence from misinformation
* Building practical, sustainable changes that fit around your life
My role isn’t to diagnose, prescribe or replace your doctor or other healthcare professionals. Instead, I provide education, coaching and practical support, helping you understand your options and feel more confident advocating for yourself and making informed decisions about your health.
Most importantly, I want women to feel heard.
I know what it feels like to have symptoms dismissed, to feel overwhelmed by conflicting information and to wonder where to turn next. My aim is to provide a supportive space where there is no judgement, no shame and no subject that needs to feel embarrassing or taboo.
You deserve to understand your body, ask questions and feel confident advocating for your health.
You don’t have to navigate menopause alone.
