Kay Toye is the co-founder, with her husband Robert Reine, of Ecōrejuva Institute, where she develops education and consulting in biologically aligned design and functional wellness. She is also the founder of Luminecta Studio, a Santa Fe-based yoga and Ayurvedic wellness practice.
Her background includes over a decade of environmental and resilience consulting, an MA in Emergency and Disaster Management, and current doctoral study in Functional Medicine. Her work centers on how the built environment shapes human biology. Specifically how light, air, temperature, sound, scent, materials, and spatial layout influence physiological regulation and recovery.
Through Ecōrejuva Institute, she offers biologically aligned design consultations for both individuals and organizations, including environmental assessments for residential, wellness, and care environments.
Kay is an E-RYT 200 and YACEP yoga instructor, certified in Ayurvedic Acupressure (Marma Healing) with applied sound vibration. She completed a Marma healing practicum under the guidance of Dr. Vasant Lad. She is also a student of Sowa Rigpa (Traditional Tibetan Medicine). She completed her yoga teacher training in McLeod Ganj, India, with Vijay Amar while volunteering to teach English to Tibetan Buddhist monks and nuns through the Lha Charitable Trust.
