DBT Skills Online provide the four core skills of dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT).
Whilst we cannot provide therapy at this time, we understand that the wait can be very long and drawn out. This can add to the anxiety and frustration clients may feel. Therefore, our aim is to provide our clients with skills, tools and strategies to immediately manage and cope with heightened emotions etc.
Even though we are based in Milton Keynes, our services are provided online. Therefore, this means we are able to reach a much bigger client base.
Meetings will be held on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. Coaching sessions can by any one of the online meeting rooms or by telephone.
DBT Skills Online are committed to working collaboratively with our clients, offering a person centred approach to sessions. Our aim is to work with our clients to maximise the best results, ensuring the client is listened to. Encouragement is offered to learn, use and maintain a healthier mind and body.
We are proud members of the Complimentary Medical Association, British Psychological Society and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists. We work to a strict code of ethics in line with the CMA, BPS and RCOT.
PLEASE NOTE: All sessions will be held online. However, Clients in Milton Keynes can request an in-person meeting. DBT Skills Online reserve the right to decline face to face appointments.
Decisions on face to face meetings will be based on each individual case.
