Hello, I’m Carolyn Aitken. I live in the coastal town of Helensburgh, near Glasgow, Scotland, with my husband and our son. I’ve worked as an optician since my early twenties and became a qualified iridologist in 2019.

As an iridologist, I am trained to analyse the iris—the coloured part of the eye—to help identify underlying health patterns and support clients in addressing a wide range of both chronic and acute conditions. I work remotely with clients from all over the world, but you’re also welcome to visit me in person at The Lomond Clinic.

What is Iridology?
Iridology is a holistic, non-invasive method of health analysis that focuses on prevention rather than cure. It supports the body’s natural ability to heal and restore balance, vitality, and wellbeing. By studying the iris, an iridologist can detect signs of stress, weakness, or imbalance in various organs and systems before symptoms become more serious. This insight allows for recommendations that aim to prevent illness and promote optimal health—making iridology a powerful tool for proactive wellness.

Workshops & Community Events
I host free Iridology Workshops at The Lomond Clinic (55–56 West Clyde Street, Helensburgh, G84 8AX) to share insights into this complementary medicine. My goal is to raise awareness of iridology and empower others to understand the body’s signals before symptoms manifest.
