Julie Harrison

Over the past 20 years I have always had a strong interest in complementary and alternative therapies.  I have experienced many myself, such as reflexology, reiki, healing, massage, meditation, aromatherapy, phytobiophysics and nutritionist throughout my life.  I have a particular interest in nutrition after attending a Juice therapy retreat which highlighted the important role nutrition has on the body.  I have benefited greatly from this to ensure I am eating the right food to fuel my body with the correct nutrients.  This has resulted in me altering my own diet, so I am gluten and dairy free.  I enjoy exploring different ways to ensure I am getting the appropriate nutrients for my own body such as juicing/smoothies, eating raw food such as salads to making raw carrot cake, gluten free bread out of buckwheat and rice flour and chocolate brownie cakes out of black beans.  I enjoy passing on the knowledge I have gained to others in the teaching sessions and conferences, where I have provided training sessions about how important it is to ensure we consume the correct food to obtain optimum health.
