European College of QINOpractic Medicine

European College of QINOpractic Medicine offers Basic courses in Swedish and Sports Massage and Post-Grad courses for therapists, Physiotherapist, and doctors.

Our main venue in i Fuengirola in the Spanish Costa del Sol region (south Spain).
This is where most of our courses are held, however we are looking into a venue in the UK as well, but these courses will be a lot more expensive, since the cost for the venue is huge in the UK.

What is QINOpractic Medicine (QM)?

QM is a complementary and alternative health care profession with the purpose of assessing and treating mechanical disorders.

QM is a truly holistic therapy form/ approach and the unique sum and combination of knowledge, wisdom, and philosophy from Eastern Medicines and Chiropractic melded together with modified techniques from Kinesiology, Osteopathy and different European Soft Tissue and Massage Therapies (among them, Myofascial and Swedish) into a holistic, ‘wholebody’ treatment protocol.

"The Doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease." Thomas Edison.
The European College of QINOpractic Medicine seeks to be on the leading edge to form these future caretakers.

We offer as many as 10 different (post-grad) courses for these future caretakers and annual post-post-grad courses, only applicable to our own students. What we DON'T offer are mainstream courses (like trigger point, dry needling and so on). No, we offer specially designed, self-made courses where we combine tons of different modalities and philosophies.

Post-Grad courses:
Five structural modules (Module 1 - 5) and 5 Mental or Emotional Modules (Module 6-10)

Basic courses:
- Swedish and Sportsmassage courses (Level 3 and 4)
- Special courses in the sun. Short four day couses where we focus on a specific problem area, for exampel neck or low back pain, plus muscle-testing, kinesiology, nutrition (you will also ger a complete mineral and nutritional analysis).
These are held in Fuengirola in southern Spain. March and October (only 8 spots, they fill up fast)

Founder:
Dr Mike Dahlstrom founded QINOpractic Medicine in 2005.

QM is the unique sum and combination of knowledge, wisdom, and philosophy from Eastern Medicines and Chiropractic melded together with modified techniques from Kinesiology, Osteopathy and different European Soft Tissue and Massage Therapies (among them, Myofascial and Swedish) into a holistic, ‘wholebody’ treatment protocol.

Philosophy and approach to healthcare:
The QM perspective reflects a holistic, wholebody treatment approach to healthcare.

QM is non-invasive and recognises the dynamics of lifestyle, environment, and health. This treatment appreciates the multifactorial nature of structural, chemical, emotional and psychological influences on the nervous system and indeed the whole body.

QM begins with the assumption that function, structure and emotion are interdependent and cannot be evaluated or treated separately. Problems, issues and conditions within our neuroskeletal structure and joints cause an imbalance in the overall function of the body.

These imbalances in function, disturbances in muscles, circulation, nerve function, inner organs, and glands to name a few, can lead to changes in muscular balance and overall physiological and psychological functions. Structural problems, in turn, can lead to disturbances in nerve function and signal flow, resulting in biochemical changes and output of pain.
