Yoga Effective for Chronic Neck Pain Treatment

Research published in The Journal of Pain has shown that Yoga appears to be a highly effective treatment for people suffering from chronic neck pain.

Estimates show that as many as 20% of people suffer in this way and that this not only causes suffering, leading to a poor quality of life, it is also responsible for a lot of work time being lost.

This German study has shown that Yoga is not only an effective treatment for neck pain, it also leads to a psychological improvements in well being and quality of life and has no negative side-effects.

The researchers have also found benefits in treating lower back pain.
