EVENING PRIMROSE OIL

What is Evening Primrose Oil?

What conditions has Evening Primrose Oil been used to treat?

What is Evening Primrose Oil?

This oil contains GLA, (gamma-linolenic acid) and is an essential fatty acid. The EFA is converted into hormone-like substances called prostaglandins and these regulate many bodily functions.

Where is it found?

The body can make GLA from various types of fat, yet Evening Primrose Oil provides so much GLA in such a concentrated form it is worth taking if you need GLA.

Why is it needed?

There are some prostaglandins that promote inflammation and some that are anti-inflammatory. GLA found in Evening Primrose Oil is directly converted into the anti-inflammatory one.

Click here for more information on the conditions it is used to treat.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
