Lianne Young

I am a qualified counsellor providing a professional serivce in traditional counselling and addiction therpay covering alcohol addiction, sex and relationships advice and pornography addictions.

Your emotional health and wellbeing is of up most importance and needs to be taken care of just as much as anything else in your life. Life can be very hard in the current economy and we all need to take more care of ourselves well cutting expenses and trying to stay on top of their responsibilities.

For this very reason I recognise the flexibility needed and offer face to face counselling, online counselling and telephone counselling that don't over stretch you finances and time as I work around you. What you will receive is a professional, private, confidential, compassionate and life skills plan to overcome your issues and get back on the road to recovery.

Counselling is not a quick fix plan, it's about discovering where your issues came from, sometimes its a simple thing such as personality and other times it can be deep-rooted from many years back. What is important is getting the help you need now.

Addictions Therapy

Addictions is not having the control over something you are doing, taking or using and it is taking over your life, to the point it can cause long-term complications and damage.

Addictions are very common and come in many forms and can be developed from anything. The most common are smoking, alcohol and substance abuse, however there are many other addictions such as; sex, pornography, gambling, exercise, food and something as basic as the internet.

It's important to remember that it is not just yourself who is suffering from you addiction, it includes family, friends and your social surroundings. This is why it is important to seek help as soon as possible.

There are several treatments available to treat addictions, however before any treatment you will need to accept you have an addiction and understand how it is affecting your life, this way help you recognise why you need to help yourself.

If I feel you need to see a medically trained professional then I will recommend you do so and come up with a plan to work beside them to help you manage your addiction. One thing to remember is that most addicts do relapse at some point, this should not stop you from committing to helping yourself and managing your addiction.
