I believe that many illnesses and ailments are caused by a build-up of stress and negative influences/energies on our bodies. More and more people are finally waking upto the fact that we seriously have to take more care of our wellbeing. Complimentary therapies are the key. We need to take time to nurture, renew and revive our bodies and souls. Often when we don’t have any time to spend on ourselves is exactly when we need it the most! It’s actually just a matter of prioritising - putting yourself first. A tiptop you can then tackle the world head on.

The treatments I offer are well thought out and give relief both mentally & physically from every day stresses and strains.

Indian Head Massage.  A therapeutic relaxing massage which has been practised in India for over 1,000 years. It is a seated massage offering a variety of pressure and techniques focussing on the head, face, neck, shoulders and upper arms. The benefits are individual, varied and cumulative and can include relief from tension headaches, relief from stiff muscles in the face, scalp, neck, upper back & shoulders, alleviation of stress, anxiety and lethargy, improved sleep patterns & increased energy levels.

Oriental Hand & Arm Massage.  This wonderfully relaxing therapy is very beneficial to our modern day lives.   Our hands and arms are worked hard continuously each day and this can put strain on our tendons, ligaments and muscles with many people suffering from aches, pains, muscle fatigue and even repetitive strain injury.   Its now time to honour those hard working hands!

Thai Foot Massage.  A treat for the lower legs and feet! Fantastic for walkers, cyclists and people who are on their feet all day. A refreshing and revitalising treatment which involves hands on stretching, massaging & stimulation of the reflex points of the feet and lower legs.   This form of massage has been practised for thousands of years and is also very relaxing. Afterwards you’ll feel like you are walking on air!

Holistic Facial Massage. This beautiful treatment is a mix of Japanese, Indian and other Eastern influences all of which have such a beneficial effect of the face. This facial massage helps to release stress and tension locked deep within the muscles of the face thus encouraging improved complexion and reduced wrinkles/expression lines over time.  This routine also helps to remove toxins, improve blood circulation and lymphatic flow, strengthens and tones muscles and helps fight against skin sagging and fine lines.  You will leave feeling deeply relaxed whilst your face will feel refreshed and renewed.

Reiki.  (pronounced ‘Ray Kee’) is a gentle safe non-intrusive hands on/off healing technique using spiritual energy to balance, heal & harmonise all aspects of a person’s body. The client is fully clothed throughout and benefits include deep relaxation, promoting a calm, peaceful sense of well-being on all levels.

Tuning Fork Sound Therapy. This safe non-invasive treatment is so relaxing. We are all made up of energy and the human body vibrates with its own natural frequency.  The basic principle of sound therapy is the concept of resonance (our vibratory frequency). Tuning forks are used on and around the body whilst the client lays back, relaxes and listens to the beautiful sounds they produce.  The sound vibrations from the tuning forks have a harmonious effect of the cells within the body, thus encouraging wellbeing.  May aid stress, anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, tinnitus, sinusitis, migraines, headaches, stress, insect bites, period pains, colds and coughs, digestive problems, tiredness, wound healing etc.
