Research Amongst Nuns Finds No “God Spot” in the Brain

Researchers at the University of Montreal, in researching mystical experiences, studied the brains of 15 nuns (23 – 64 years old) who were asked to re-live a mystical experience and found that no one place in the brain – a so-called “God Spot” existed – as these mystical experiences triggered activity in several key areas of the brain.
